[INFOGRAPHIC] 📊 Urbint Reduces GHG Emissions By Over 142,000 Tons

Author: Urbint

Earth’s last eight years were the hottest on record. That figure should come as little surprise in 2023. From wildfires across Europe to record-setting heat domes along the West Coast to increasingly strong hurricanes devastating Florida and Puerto Rico before creeping into Canada, the effects of climate change are beyond obvious at this point.

At Urbint, we’re proud to do our part in lowering greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change. Our technology helps customers across North America prevent releases of natural gas, which has 28 to 36 times the global warming potential of carbon dioxide (CO2).

Last year, Urbint customers used our solutions to prevent over 142,000 metric tons of CO2e* from entering the atmosphere.* In practical terms, that’s like taking more than 30,000 cars off the road or planting more than 2.3 million trees, according to calculations from the Environmental Protection Agency.

Since we began tracking our emissions reductions, 2022 stands out as our most successful year on record. By using our solutions, Urbint customers prevented over 20,000 more tons of CO2e from escaping as in 2021.

Many of North America’s biggest utilities use Urbint to prevent asset damages that result in releases of methane. We’re honored to stand alongside our customers as trusted partners in the fight against climate change.
